Aths: Anlezark wins shot put gold medal
Australia's JUSTIN ANLEZARK has won the gold medal in the men's shot put at the CommonwealthGames.
ANLEZARK, the Australian champion, recorded his season's best put of 20.91 metres towin the final at the City of Manchester Stadium.
South African JANUS ROBBERTS claimed the silver medal with a best effort of 19.97mwhile England's CARL MYERSCOUGH won bronze with 19.91m.
