Fed: Charities welcome Democrats move on FBT

Church groups and non-profit organisations say a cap on fringe benefits tax exemptions
for charities would create a black hole in the delivery of community services.

The Uniting Church has welcomed the Australian Democrats' opposition to an increase
in FBT charges for charities.

UnitingCare Australia national director LIBBY DAVIES says the changes to the FBT would
