Mobility is hot. The growth of laptops, cellular and remote access shows how important anytime, anywhere communications has become.

Now add a new class of products - front ends to PBXs that enable a called party to be reached while moving through a building or campus, in a car or elsewhere on the road or working from home. Last month, Ericsson Business Systems (Research Triangle Park, NC) announced a new TDMA-based Mobility Server, which sits in front of PBXs, central offices or Centrex systems and directs calls to wherever the called party is located. The server also can forward fax and data calls.
