The Victorian snow report for Saturday, August 30:
Mt Hotham: Snow depth: 145cm, Lifts: 13/13 operating. Excellent skiing and boardingon an excellent cover of firm snow. Very good to excellent cross-country skiing on groomedtrails. Wind warnings on some trails and lifts.
Mt Buller: Snow depth: 100cm, Lifts: 25/25 operating. Excellent skiing and boardingon a very good to excellent cover of fresh packed snow. Good to very good cross countryskiing on very good cover. Strong to gale force wind warning with blizzard conditionsexpected.
Falls Creek: Snow depth: 161cm, Lifts: 15/15 operating. Excellent skiing and boardingon an excellent cover of firm snow. Excellent cross country skiing. Strong winds may affectsome lifts.
Lake Mountain: Snow depth: 30cm. Excellent skiing and snowplay on an excellent coverof packed snow.
Mt Baw Baw: Snow depth: 40cm, Lifts: 6/6 operating. Good skiing and boarding on a goodcover of groomed snow. Good cross country skiing on very good cover of groomed snow.
Mt Buffalo: Snow depth: 41cm, Lifts: 4/5 lifts operating. Very good skiing and boardingon very good cover of packed now softening in the day. Good to very good cross-countryskiing on partly groomed trails.
Dinner Plain: Snow depth: 49cm, Lifts: 1/1 operating. Very good skiing and boardingon a very good cover of snow. Good cross-country skiing on both upper and lower trails.
Mt Stirling: Snow depth: 75cm. Excellent skiing on an excellent cover of fresh snow.
Excellent snowplay.
Mt St Gwinear: Snow depth: 55cm. Very good skiing with some grooming. Excellent sightseeingand snowplay.
Mt Donna Buang: Snow depth: 10cm. Good sightseeing and snowplay.
